Family Carers Ireland Education and Training Programmes provide family carers with information, knowledge, insights and practical tips to help them develop new understanding and skills important in their caring role while raising awareness of self-care when providing care for a family member.
Many carers put their own health and wellbeing low on their list of priorities. A range of self-care tools and techniques is explored throughout our programmes to assist carers to discover a technique that works for them and supports their own well-being. Learning and Education helps carers to develop a greater understanding of their role and can give them new or enhanced skills that support them in their caring role while creating new opportunities for carers outside of that role.
Training is currently delivered online.
